This test paper allows the quick and easy detection of strong oxidizers such as nitrite and free chlorine. Potassium iodide starch paper is also used to control diazotization reactions. Potassium iodide starch paper may be used by dipping it into the sample or by applying drops of the sample onto the paper. To detect gaseous oxidizers, the paper is moistened with distilled water and then exposed to the gas in question.

The high sensitivity and accuracy is accomplished by single reagents which can be dosed precisely and by the possibility to compensate turbidity and color of water samples.* Not suitable for analysis of seawater.
CMS's electronic microchip-measurement system is currently one of the most accurate and reliable on-site detection systems for the measurement of gas concentrations. It comprises a substance specific microchip and an analyzer which takes measurements and displays the results on a digital screen. With one chip it is possible to take 10 different measurements of a known substance. Each measurement is carried out using the display menu operated by a single switch. Even new users will find its operation easy and trouble-free. 50 individual measurements can be stored in the integral data recorder at any one time.Other chips available on request.
